Service Quotation Inclusive

As time of quoting for the Service Inspection and Testing for your site our strata fire protection offer shall include.

  • Service and inspection of all Fire Related Equipment (excludes Mechanical)
  • Comprehensive will be quoted as a Option and shown separately
  • Anti-Tamper seals and Service Tags inclusive in the cost
  • Fire System Test Books inclusive in the cost (but the allowance shown separately excluded the theft of any books from your site)

Key Lock Box – FREE

At your request we shall supply and install a security coded Key Lock box to your site. That allows for fast and efficient access to the site.

Service tech attendance window: 2 Hours

We provide a 2 hours service technician attendance window, where we guarantee our tech is  to attend your site within that window. Sometimes, things don’t go to plan and that, coupled with unforeseen traffic conditions, means that we need some flexibility re site attendance times. That’s why we can not provide a firm site attendance time. However, we do provide a service attendance window. Of course, we always plan to be on site at the beginning on the window time.

It is imperative to save time and money so that the tenants, if required, must remain onsite to provide our technician’s access.

The service attendance Process: How does it work?

This is how your Strata Service Agent undertakes your job booking.
Step 1: We call and Email your Strata Manager to confirm our attendance on a certain day. We give you a minimum  14 days’ notice
Step 2: We await and follow up the approval to attend from the site Strata Manager
Step 3: We schedule the Strata Technician as per the agreed Day and Time
Step 4: We attend site and undertake any Service – inspection and testing.

Repairs: Should repairs be necessary and possible on the spot and fall into our On the Spot – Fix Criteria, we shall undertake that repair on the spot

On the Spot Fix Criteria

The technician must have the Skill to do the repairs. Our techs have training to a Cert 2 level. However, they cannot do everything. In some cases they need a specific skilled trades person or an assistant to safely undertake the repairs. In these circumstances we will raise a new Job number and the Service Attendance process shall recommence.


 

STRATA Special Vehicles: “ On the Spot Repairs”

We equip our Strata Service technicians with special vehicles with as many spare parts as we can in order to assist in The “On The Spot Repairs”. However, as you can appreciate, we can NOT keep every part. In some instances it will be necessary to secure the parts and return to site. That shall be at an additional cost. However, we strive to keep the main “in demand” parts in our technicians’ vehicles to save time and money.

Prices firm for minimum 2 Years

Our STRATA Discount Price List commenced January 1st 2023 and remains in force till January 1st 2025. We attempt to maintain very competitive prices, and absorb as many suppliers’ increases as possible.

For clients who allow repairs to be done On the spot up to the value of $600, we offer:

  • Service contract invoiced quarterly and the account terms extended to 60 days.
  • Payments made prior to the 60 days attract a 6% discount.

STRATA Committee Fire Protection Technical Support assistant – Fire Protection

We have a specialist who can provide fire protection general assistance. This is particularly beneficial where the Strata committee meets after hours and requires an explanation or technical assistance when reviewing any issues. This is a free service for general service-related issues.

Specific Building Code compliance issues are excluded and may attract a separate fee. Our Strata Tech Committee support assistant shall advise if a fee would apply.

FPAA – AFSS ACCREDITED AUDITORS.

In accordance with NSW legislation many companies must have an annual audit by an Accredited Person Fire Safety (APFS), to undertake a site audit of the Essential Fire Safety equipment. IF they found the company to continue to perform to the nominated performance standards the APFS may endorse the Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS).  Redmen Strata Fire Protection has several FPAS accredited auditors that comply with the APFS standard in-house.
